USA Memory Championship

There are four qualifying events in the first part of the competition:〔(Competition Events )〕
* Names and Faces: memorize up to 117 names and faces in 15 minutes
* Speed Numbers: memorize as many random digits as possible within five minutes
* Speed Cards: memorize a shuffled deck of playing cards as quickly as possible
* Poetry: memorize an unpublished poem within 15 minutes
Eight mental athletes then advance to the final rounds:
* Spoken Words: memorize a long list of spoken words
* Three Strikes You’re Out: memorize facts about strangers, including names, addresses, phone numbers, hobbies, and more
* Double Deck O’Cards: whichever of the remaining competitors survives this elimination round is the champion
